Preoperative psychological symptoms and chronic postsurgical pain

This open access British Journal of Anaesthesia analysis, using data from the large cohort study China Anaesthesia and Surgery Cohort (CASC), found that patients with preoperative psychological symptoms, such as anxiety, were more likely to suffer from chronic postsurgical pain.
