DEVICE: Video versus Direct Laryngoscopy for Tracheal Intubation of Critically Ill Adults

Videolaryngoscopy (VL) is increasingly becoming the standard of care when faced with a potentially challenging intubation.

This paper in the New England Journal of Medicine looked at patients undergoing intubation in the emergency department and intensive care unit, finding an increased first-pass success rate with VL versus direct laryngoscopy (DL).
